The University of California San Diego (UCSD) section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) thanks you for your interest in sponsoring our organization. The primary source of funding for college sections of SWE is from corporate sponsorship. Without sponsors, the section would be greatly hindered in its ability to provide prospective students with educational development and leadership opportunities.
Envision is our largest event of the year. It is our annual high school outreach program where around 200 high school girls in the San Diego area come to UCSD for the day to experience all the career possibilities in STEM. The focus of this event is to encourage women, especially first generation college students, to join STEM fields.
The Envision Event Sponsorship is a monetary donation that goes directly towards Envision. It allows for the continuation and expansion of this program which makes SWE at UCSD's outreach unique and impactful. Your company will be able to send one representative to assist at the technical activities. In addition, your company logo will be on the Envision website and promotional materials.
SWE at UCSD also has sponsorship levels that includes sponsoring the Envision Outreach Conference in addition to the opportunity of hosting an information session or a workshop with SWE at UCSD's general members, as well as other benefits.
