Envision is a conference is designed for high school girls from the ages of 14 to 18 to learn more about engineering, science, and technology.

Parent Program:   Sunday, February 12, 2023, 9 AM - 11 AM PST

Will Envision be online or in person?

Envision will be completely in person this year!

 

What is included in Envision?

As a participant of Envision, you will have the opportunity to sign up for sessions with hands-on engineering activities, a panel to hear from current UCSD students, lab tours, and more! 

 

Is Envision only for girls?

In the past, Envision has been a conference designed for girls. Girls have priority registration and open spots will be filled by those on the waitlist.

 

What if I can't stay the entire day?

You are free to leave before the end of the day, but please let us know at check-in.

 

Can I come if I’m not in high school?

Unfortunately, this conference is designed for High School girls between the ages of 14-18.

 

Can I still register after the registration deadline?

You may still fill out the form but nothing is guaranteed. Mostly likely, there will be a waitlist for this event.

 

Can I bring a sibling/friend with me?

No. Each signup is per person, and guests cannot be accommodated.

 

What if I’m on the waitlist?

This event caters to about 150-200 girls and is on a first come, first served basis. Those on the waitlist will be contacted the last week of January if spots become available.

Is there a Parent Program component to Envision?

Yes! On February 12th, 2023, right before Envision, there will be a Parent Program for the attendees’ parents and guardians that includes talks on Financial Aid and Guidance on supporting your kids’ interest in engineering.

Directions to the Jacobs School of Engineering at UCSD

  • Exit at Genesee Avenue from Interstate 5 and head west.

  • Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Rd.

  • Turn left onto North Point Drive.

  • North Point Drive bears right and becomes Hopkins Drive Turn left onto Voigt Drive.

 

The Jacobs School of Engineering buildings are on the right-hand side of the road.
